Saudia Arabia lifted most Covid-19 restrictions
Saudi Arabia lifted almost all Covid-19 restrictions, effective today, citing the progress of the national vaccination program and high overall rates of immunity and improved pandemic situation in the country.
The news was announced by the state-run SPA news agency on Saturday. An unnamed official from the ministry of interior said that the removal of restrictions was effective immediately.
The citizens will no longer to wear masks or practice social distancing, as per the statement issued by the interior ministry. However, all visitors to the kingdom of Saudia Arabia will be required to have health insurance to cover a potential illness during their visit to Saudi Arabia.
Kingdom of Saudia Arabia is open for all business travellers as Kingdom dropped the requirement for tourists to present a negative PCR or rapid antigen test on arrival. Saudia Arabia once again welcomes all business travelers and visitors to the kingdom.
