The transfer of service for house employees must be completed online within a maximum of seven days, according to a directive from the General Directorate of Passports, Jawazat.
According to the Jawazat, the service “Transfer Approvals” permits resident domestic employees to approve or disapprove a request to transfer their services. And this action by the foreign worker must be carried out in seven days.
The directorate has further clarified that transfer of services may be carried out by logging into the individual’s Absher, clicking on my services, then services, then passports, and approvals for transfer of services.
The Jawazat emphasised that expat domestic workers must give their approval for the transfer of services to the new employer within seven days given that the previous employer has also approved for the same.
