There have been a number of changes made to the rules that travelers must follow when entering Hong Kong and Macao, according to the Saudi Arabian embassy in both cities.
According to the consulate, the local governments in the administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao, made and approved these adjustments.
According to the adjustments, any Saudi national who intends to visit these two regions must strictly adhere these newly introduced guidelines. These rules include: the visitor must stay in quarantine for a maximum of 3 days, followed by 4 days of self-monitoring. Throughout the four-day period, Saudi tourists to Hong Kong and Macao will be required to perform a PCR test for Covid-19 as part of self-monitoring.
Moreover, tourists are permitted to visit stores and engage in some activities during the self-monitoring period, but they are not permitted to travel to public locations like restaurants where large crowds of people congregate.
