Saudi Arabia’s Future Investment Initiative postponed until January

The Future Investment Initiative (FII), Saudi Arabia’s flagship financial forum, has been postponed until early next year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizers said.

The fourth edition of Saudi Arabia’s Future Investment Initiative which was scheduled to take place in Riyadh from October 29-31 has now been moved to January next year.

In a press statement on Tuesday, the Future Investment Initiative Institute said: “After careful consideration and assessment of the global forum and airline outlook, as well as the regulations imposed by a significant number of countries, and in the context of the efforts deployed to overcome the impact of COVID-19, we have decided to postpone the fourth edition of the Future Investment Initiative.”

The investment initiative, which is also known as “Davos in the Desert,” will now take place from January 26-29 under the theme “The Neo-Renaissance.”
