Saudi King Salman announces urgent 10 million dollar aid to Ukraine refugees

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia has authorized the KSRelief to offer immediate medical aid worth $10 million to Ukrainian refugees fleeing to bordering countries.

The decision said that immediate relief in the amount of USD 10 million would be provided to refugees fleeing Ukraine to neighboring nations, particularly Poland, in collaboration with the Polish government and United Nations agencies.

“The humanitarian assistance is an extension of the Kingdom’s relief efforts to stand by the affected and needy across the globe and alleviate their pain” said by KSRrelief advisor Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah. 

Dr. Al-Rabiah also expressed his gratitude and admiration to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the unexpected effort, which embodies Saudi Arabia’s noble humanitarian stance that elevates the worth of human beings.
